Digital Ministry & Office Coordinator
Queen Anne Baptist Church is seeking a responsible, proactive, and tech-savvy Digital Ministry & Office Coordinator to support the Senior Pastor, staff, and congregation by ensuring the smooth and effective daily operations of the church. This part-time role is vital to QABC’s inclusive and justice-centered ministry, combining administrative leadership with digital communications and outreach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Outreach & Communications
- Coordinate internal and external communications for the church
- Design flyers and promotional materials (working knowledge of Canva preferred)
- Manage church social media accounts (create content, post updates, respond to comments, engage with tagged content)
- Collaborate with staff and ministry leaders to promote worship services, events, and outreach opportunities
- Coordinate and support volunteers across communications, events, and ministry areas, ensuring alignment with QABC’s mission and values
- Utilize digital tools like Subsplash and ProPresenter to support online presence and worship
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Pastor and staff
- Oversee daily church office operations (emails, phone calls, supplies, etc.)
- Manage church calendar, building use, and scheduling
- Maintain and update church membership records (baptisms, deaths, marriages, address changes, etc.)
- Manage and maintain the church’s electronic filing system, including contracts, policies, and records; scan paper documents as needed
- Keep essential office supplies stocked and organized
- Create weekly orders of worship and monthly newsletters
- Prepare ProPresenter presentations and materials for worship and meetings
- Serve as on-site staff presence for rental events when needed (additional compensation is paid for rental events, paid by the client)
SCHEDULE & TIME COMMITMENT
This position blends regular in-person commitments with flexible remote work.

- Average weekly commitment: 10–15 hours per week
- Sundays required: 3 hours weekly (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
- Weekly 2-hour staff meetings (typically Wednesdays; flexible depending on team availability)
- Monthly Leadership Council meetings (typically Wednesday evenings; timing adaptable)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience. Rate is negotiable based on qualifications.
- In compliance with Washington State law, the employee will accrue paid sick leave at a rate of at least 1 hour for every 40 hours worked
- Additional paid time off (e.g., vacation or holidays) is not included
- Unpaid time off may be arranged with prior approval
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates are collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping a progressive, community-focused church thrive both in person and online.
- Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least 3 years experience in office admin and/or social media coordination. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in administrative support, communications, or social media marketing
- Knowledge of volunteer coordination and/or grant research is a plus
- Technical & Digital Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Forms, etc.)
- Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, and other digital media platforms
- Experience with—or willingness to learn—Subsplash and ProPresenter
- Administrative & Organizational Skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and potential conflict situations
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in managing varied responsibilities and shifting priorities
