Rev. Dr. Victoria Carr-Ware
Senior Pastor
Rev. Dr. Victoria Carr-Ware is an enthusiastic preacher, counselor, and educator who’s committed to radical solidarity and belonging through the work of racial justice, gender justice, and LGBTQIA+ liberation. She is passionate about developing emerging leaders in the church, cultivating liberation and social justice, and improving quality of life. Pastor Victoria currently serves on the boards of Seattle Pacific Seminary and the Seattle Baptist Union and is a member of the Committee on Standards and Ordination of the Evergreen Association of the American Baptist Churches. Prior to QABC, Pastor Victoria served as the Ecumenical and Multifaith Campus Minister at Seattle University and as Associate Pastor at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship where she joyfully “loved on the congregation” and invested in the leadership development of new clergy.
Pastor Victoria earned a BA in Psychology and an MA in Educational Psychology from New York University. She earned an M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary in NYC and completed a Doctor of Ministry from Seattle University in June 2022. Pastor Victoria completed a chaplain fellowship at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and a chaplain residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in New York City where she served patients with mental illness and traumatic injuries. Pastor Victoria was ordained in September 2013 by the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn under the guidance and leadership of the Rev. Anthony Trufant. She and her husband, Michael, have one beautiful son, Nolan, who is the joy of their lives. Pastor V. enjoys traveling, hosting gatherings, and leading praise and worship.

Min. Alex Booker
Associate Pastor for Social Justice and Outreach
Min. Alex is a husband and father of three lovely children. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, he earned his Bachelor of Science at Washington State University and his Master of Divinity from Seattle Pacific Seminary. As the son of two Baptist preachers, he has been serving in the church his whole life, most recently working with youth in congregations and college ministry in higher education. He has a passion for social justice and seeks to usher in heaven on earth with the love of Christ.
