The Good News of Jesus Christ
We affirm our faith in God as Creator, Jesus Christ as Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our guide and strength. We believe Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross secures our eternal salvation and calls us to work for justice and reconciliation on earth. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we follow Christ’s example—standing with the marginalized, the oppressed, and all who suffer, reminding them they are not alone. The resurrection of Jesus gives us hope and power to break free from harmful systems, structures, and sin.
The Centrality of the Bible
We are a biblically based church, believing the Bible is God’s inspired Word, guiding faith, morals, and holy living. Scripture is "living and active" (Hebrews 4:12), and we recognize the harm caused by its misuse to justify oppression. Thus, we are committed to faithful interpretation that affirms all people, including male, female, and trans, and calls us to racial diversity, social justice, and advocacy. We affirm Individual Soul Liberty, believing each person is free to worship God as they understand Scripture, while remaining accountable to God and the Word.
Believer's Baptism and Lord's Supper
We practice Believer’s Baptism—full immersion of those who consciously profess faith in Jesus Christ. It is a public declaration of faith, symbolizing death to an old life and resurrection into a new life in Christ. Because baptism is a personal decision of faith, we do not baptize infants or toddlers. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on first Sundays at QABC, remembering Jesus’ life, death, and the new life and renewal we have in Him.
Social Justice and Advocacy
As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that all people are created in God’s image and called to live in love, justice, and radical inclusion. The gospel compels us to stand in solidarity with the marginalized, addressing both immediate needs and systemic injustices. Rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit, we affirm that salvation is not only about eternal life but also about liberation and justice on earth.
Queen Anne Baptist Church is committed to faithful discipleship that embraces racial and economic diversity, affirms LGBTQIA+ individuals, and advocates for equity in our communities. Through worship, education, and action, we seek to dismantle harmful systems and partner with God in bringing about justice, reconciliation, and healing for all people.

QABC is a Fully LGBTQIA+ Affirming Church
Queen Anne Baptist Church believes that all people are created in the image and likeness of God. As followers of Jesus Christ, we seek to participate through the Spirit in radical solidarity by welcoming and affirming all people - inclusive of race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, physical and mental ability, national or geographic origin, and education. We honor and celebrate the full expressions and callings of our LGBTQIA+ siblings in all positions of the church, from membership to leadership. We will continue to baptize, have communion with, ordain, marry, bury, and do ministry alongside our LGBTQIA+ siblings. The Good News of Jesus Christ calls us to stand with the marginalized and oppressed as we move toward the embodiment of beloved community.
